Every summer we move to our little cottage on the outskirt of Oslo. Here I have a little garden and a lovely veranda perfect for knitting on a windy day. Here I can sit and enjoy the flowers and relax.
Right now the lilies are about to come out and the Dahlias are beautiful.
My first knitting book; Knit Nordic, is just out in English and Norwegian and I am so happy to notice that people like it! It is a milestone in my designing life and still I have to think ahead.
At the moment I am working on a lovely cosy top for The Knitter Magazine, I am sketching some ideas for spring and summer next year and are dreaming up a sweater in merino, silk and possum yarn for my self!
I knit all year round but when the evenings get chilly in August, and the feel of autumn creeps in on the days, I see to enjoy the knitting more than ever!
I hope you are full of inspiration after the summer holiday and can settle down for some “you time” with the knitting.
